Come all'estero vedono gli italiani

Noi italiani abbiamo pregiudizi su tutti, riteniamo che gli spagnoli facciano la siesta, mentre lavorano molto sodo, che nessun paese sia superiore al nostro in fatto di moda, mentre Sud Africa e Turchia cominciano a presentare al mondo collezioni di moda davvero innovative. Potrei continuare a lungo con gli esempi ma è meglio che mi fermi qui.
La nostra superficialità anche nei rapporti di affari deriva da quello che Newsweek ha definito la cultura della bella figura.

Questo è solo un esempio di come ci vedono all'estero

You will find that the belief in "bella figura" becomes quite pronounced the further south in Italy you travel.

Putroppo la cultura della bella figura è largamente diffusa in Italia.
Noi privilegiamo la forma alla sostanza; gli uffici e le segretarie devono essere eleganti, le presentazioni ai clienti pirotecniche, i siti web devono essere "sfavillanti", non importa se dietro a tutto questo non c'è nulla.....
